Aisha was referred to Citizens Advice Runnymede and Spelthorne from the local council’s Social Prescribing team.

She has been living with her Grandparents for 2.5 years and has a part time job. She was referred for a benefit check and for housing.

Working with Adult Social Services, she attended a social care assessment which identified that she had ongoing needs that would require supported living accommodation.

This accommodation was identified, and her Personal Independence Payments were applied for.

Aisha received Enhanced Daily Living together with backdated payments of £8,500. She now has her own place in a secure environment where she will be supported day to day.
