Beaujolais has volunteered with Citizens Advice Runnymede & Spelthorne for 42 years, providing life-changing advice and support to vulnerable people for over 4 decades.

As an Adviser, Beaujolais has helped thousands of clients, often facing desperate situations with housing, money and employment. Always determined to ensure that residents in our community receive the very best possible advice, her compassion and commitment have remained steadfast over the years, even through difficult family circumstances. During the Covid-19 pandemic, Beaujolais was one of the amazing volunteers who kept the service going by providing advice from home using new technologies when the offices were closed.
Always available to support her team, Beaujolais has passed on her passion and knowledge by training and mentoring many other volunteers, and still runs our workshops on maintaining the highest quality advice.
Driven to fight injustice and to stand up for the most disadvantaged in society, Beaujolais’ passion for fairness shines through in her social policy and advice work ensuring that all clients have fair access to their rights.
Beaujolais continues to be enormously respected for her dedicated hard work for our community and an inspiration throughout many generations of volunteers at Citizens Advice Runnymede & Spelthorne.
Becky Whale, CEO at Citizens Advice Runnymede & Spelthorne said:
“We are so privileged to have Beaujolais as part of our team and we honestly do not know anyone else who has championed fairness and the rights of vulnerable people so consistently and humbly over such a long period of time.”
